Here’s a map and list of fitness spots in the Four Points Area of Austin (and a few favorites beyond the Four Points). I’ve included my personal experiences and recommendations from friends, as applicable.
As in all of my lists, let me know at angelique@fourpointsmom.com if I’m missing any places you love.
Along with added descriptions and photos, I’ll be updating with links to blog posts about our visits to and experiences with these places. Stay tuned!
Anytime Fitness – North FM- 620 & Anytime Fitness FM 2222
Anytime Fitness is perfect if you just like to drop in and do a workout without being involved in classes and you don’t need childcare at the site. At both Anytime Fitness locations, you can sign up for a free 7-day trial.
Barre3 Austin – Four Points
I LOVE Barre classes. As the Barre3 website explains, these “classes are designed to make everyone feel welcome and get a great workout.” It is “functional training with a twist” and is “rooted in three fitness disciplines — ballet barre, pilates and yoga — barre 3 workouts will have you feeling strong and balanced inside and out.”
Camp Gladiator
Camp Gladiator is a “full body functional workout program that combines strength plus cardio in every 60 minute session.” The website declares “each workout is different and each week we focus on something different: endurance training, functional movements, interval training, and metabolic conditioning.” There are several locations in the Four Points area. Check out the website to find out more.
F45 Four Points
Brand new to the Four Points area, I’ve heard from a few friends that F45 keeps them on their toes and keeps the workout experience fun and far from boring. Plus, you burn tons of calories! Sounds awesome to me!
According to the F45 Four Points website, “F45 Training is the new training technique leaving competition and clients gasping for air. F45 is the most innovative, challenging and systemised team training workout in the world. Come and train like the stars at F45 Training.”
You can workout at F45 for a week at no cost to try it out!
Orange Theory Four Points
Conveniently located in the Four Points H-E-B shopping center, Orange Theory claims to be “the most enjoyable, yet effective, 60-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT), group workout gym session that you will ever experience.
You can try one session for free!
River Place Country Club – Fitness Center
For many who live in River Place or Westminster Glen, RPCC is the closest place to workout. The gym is decent-sized, newly-renovated, and has a good variety of classes throughout the day. Plus, Forward Motion Training trainers are on-site most of the day and provide semi-private training that I can personally vouch for as fun, difficult, and awesome!
Child care is offered for your little ones through the club’s Kids Place and can be added on to your monthly membership on an hourly or monthly (unlimited) basis.
Wild Basin Fitness
Wild Basin is a large fitness center with a wide variety of classes, personal training, and more. The website declares it’s more of a community than a gym.
Zenergy Pilates
Now located near Kale Me Krazy in the Villages of 620, Zenergy Pilates can be described as “an integrated movement system designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the body.”
