It’s the most wonderful time of the year … well, for some people at least. Anybody else ridiculously excited about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
I am! I am!
I have a Nordstrom debit card that links to my checking account, so I was able to access the sale a week ago. I might have spent hours scouring the website to find a few (cough, cough, a few too many) things I couldn’t live without at such great prices. A few of my friends mentioned that they were going to swing by the store and check out everything. The stores don’t have everything, so if you do swing by and can’t find anything you can’t live without out be sure and check online.
In today’s post, I’m going to include some of my favorites from the sale. If you click on a link and they’re out of stock, check back later because I’ve noticed that many items show up as out of stock one day but come back the next. Don’t give up hope. 🙂
What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is a limited sale, offering brand-new fall styles at seriously discounted prices, from top brands for women, men, kids and home. It truly is unlike other sales in that these are mostly brand new styles that are put on sale. They aren’t last season’s styles – it’s all new stuff!
Four Points Mom Shops the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
Before I tell you all about my purchases and really-wish-I-could-purchase-stuff, I want to again reiterate that this is a very unusual splurge for me. I budget and plan for this sale because I know that I can take advantage of one-time discounts on necessary and annual purchases (like my kids’ shoes for the upcoming school year, holiday gifts for friends and family, bras, etc … ). And of course I do treat myself to some fun stuff too! I don’t know why I feel the need to explain myself, but I it’s probably because I’m embarrassed at my excessiveness. There. It’s out in the open. LOL.

I didn’t know if they would hold up well, but they did! I love the size of the heel and they fit true to size. Plus, they’re comfy. Yay!

Okay, I have officially become an old lady because I’m telling you about my new Dr. Scholl’s shoes. LOL. I love the look of these, but I am afraid that they might be a little too narrow for my wide feet. Yes, I’m all about coming across super sexy in this post. Ha. They are SOOOO cute, though, and I’m going to hope they work out.

Okay, I LOVE grabbing the deals on Uggs for Parker. She wears these all year long. Seriously, I have to beg her not to wear her old pair even through the summer. My aunt spoiled her this year and grabbed these during the sale. Parker will be so excited!

Okay, I’m going to try out these Wit + Wisdom bootcut jeans and see if I’m feeling them. They haven’t arrived in the mail yet and I’m not quite sure if I’m cool enough to do a bootcut (hello late 90s), but they are a great price and I’m hoping they work out!

They’ll fit you for your perfect size at Nordstrom and it changed my life. When I had a fitting I was WAY off because apparently my body has changed a bit since birthing two children. Who knew? 😉
