This has been a sick week in our house. No, I’m not trying to sound cool. Three of us have been sick as dogs. Yuck. So, I am ready for a weekend of health and happiness because we’ve been lacking both around here. But, I’m going to be optimistic and focus on some exciting things that happened and a couple in the works.
#1 Potty Training Success
Parker is mostly potty-trained!
Yay!!! I’m so pumped about this. We started with a timer on Thursday and haven’t looked back. And, she was sick for most of the week which added some complications. But this girl is ready and isn’t turning back. Other than staying on top of the timer the first couple of days, the rest is all her. I’m so proud of her and her determination. Plus, those pink M&Ms are a great incentive too. 🙂
#2 The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is STILL Going On
Earlier this week I shared with you my weakness for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Yeah, it can be a bad thing for my budget. If you didn’t check out my posts on what to snag for your kiddos and what to treat yourself with, go back and check them out. A few of the items I ordered online showed up this week and I’m so excited about them. This morning the kids tried on their new favorites for me.
Foster is wearing his new North Face fleece that is unfortunately sold out but this one is still available for toddlers and this similar one is still available for your big boys. Parker is showing off her sparkly new Native Shoes. The silver ones are gone but these super cute pink ones are still available at $35.
And I can’t wait to wear these awesome Toms Peep-Toe Booties!
They are surprisingly still available.
#3 I’m still reminiscing about the beautiful Bella Mar Pool and Playground.
We didn’t get out much since at least one of us was sick every day this week, but we’ll be out and about next week and might head back.

#5 Events Calendar Update Rolling Out This Weekend
As I mentioned earlier, my week was mostly about cleaning up potty training messes, cleaning sheets and everything else to avoid germ spreading, and feeling pretty crappy myself.
