I’m back with Day 2 of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale posts, this time highlighting my favorites for moms.

As we jump to these amazing items for YOU, I want to warn you that you’re not going to see 100 pictures of me in a dressing room. I know, I know, I’m so sorry. 😉 That’s not my thing and, to be honest, I’m not a size 0 (or anywhere close to it) and the way things fit my 5’3” frame won’t be a good replica of what you might expect on your unique body. There are tons of other blogs out there that can help you fill a void if you really need to see the clothes in action. And if you have a perfect body, then you can get a great idea of how the clothes will look on you. 😉 However, I’m going to point to clothes, shoes, and some jewelry that I purchased (or thought about purchasing) because they work for with me and my casual, comfy, and classic style.
Four Points Mom’s Favorites for Moms
I want to start off by clarifying that I never, I repeat NEVER, spend this much money shopping for myself. For some reason, though, I feel like July is when the floodgates open and I go crazy at this particular sale. My birthday is early in July so I typically have a little extra cash on hand. Plus, by now I usually haven’t bought anything new for myself (other than Target makeup or t-shirts) for months. So, I don’t think I have a shopping problem. My husband likely disagrees with that statement, but I want to pat myself on my back because it’s the end of the month and we are on budget. So there! Ha ha.

Toms Majorca Peep Toe Bootie

This are the cutest peep toe booties! I bought them in a grey color that unfortunately isn’t available anymore online, but I love the Forged Iron color as well (as seen above). I’m a person who tends to gravitate towards the same brands (and styles) over and over. I’ve bought several Tom’s flats and wedges before now and now I’m loving this bootie. Last year I searched for the perfect dark grey bootie and never found one, so I’m excited to finally grab this one up. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing these very often once the 90-plus degree weather clears out.

Buy these sandals! Seriously – buy them. These are my absolutely favorite flip-flops. You will see me wearing these to drop my kids off at school in the morning, at H-E-B, at the pool, and now that I think of it plenty of places I’m embarrassed to admit (because I probably should wear something other than flip-flops occasionally). I had never heard of this brand until my husband bought two pairs and wouldn’t stop raving about them. I now have two pairs myself (one in black and one in tan). The new platinum color is super cute though.

The other day I was at the gym and determined that 80% of those working out at that time were in Nikes. Yeah, I was really trying not to think about how out of shape I felt. I get it – Nikes are so pretty. I actually bought a pair at this sale. But, I took them back because just like I don’t need that second cupcake at my son’s friend’s birthday party, I don’t need another pair of Nikes that don’t fit my fat wide feet. I’ve known this for twenty years, but I still keep buying them. They are just so cute! But, I do actually love the look of these Asics shoes in black. I’ve added them to my shopping bag. These are the shoes that fit me and I’m excited to get them super cheap.

Gorjana Power Stone Semiprecious Stone Necklace

This might be my favorite purchase at the sale this year. I had never heard of Gorjana beforehand but was immediately in love with the navy beads and design of this necklace. I wore it this weekend and received several compliments on it. It’s more than I typically spend on necklaces (that aren’t Kendra Scott because I do love Kendra Scott …). But, I have no regrets!
Gorjana Lola Semiprecious Stone Drop Earrings

These earrings go beautifully with the Power Stone necklace. They are quite a bit bigger than the typical dangly earrings I wear, but they are really light and I don’t feel like they’re going to tug a hole through my ear (which I sometimes feel with other dangly earrings). Even though they are big, they don’t overpower your face, though, which I like.

First, let me say I LOVE this bracelet. I bought it with the other Gorjana jewelry I just showed you. But, when I got home and pulled them all out again I started questioning the purchase. It felt a little too matchy-matchy to have all three and I decided to take it back. But it is so pretty! I just typically wear earrings and necklaces so I knew I’d get less wear out of the bracelet.

My good friend, Michele, just gave me these Kate Spade stud earrings and I love them. I know several friends who stock up on these Kate Spade stud earrings for Christmas and birthday gifts. They’re classic and timeless.
Nadri Long Bezel Station Necklace

I love the simplicity yet striking sparkle of this beautiful long necklace. This is on my “if I want to stretch my budget a bit more” list. If you don’t have a rose gold necklace, this is a versatile one that looks much more expensive than its sale price. I just might have talked myself into it now …

I’m so excited about these jeans. I haven’t bought a nice pair of jeans in a couple years, and I love how 7 for All Mankind jeans fit me. They’re super soft and I’m sure will look great with booties.
Nic + Zoe Grace 4-Way Linen Blend Cardigan

This cardigan completely surprised me. The pattern was a bit strange, but I loved the colors so I grabbed it to try on. It looks so cute on! Plus, there truly are 4 ways you can wear this thing. Usually, I roll my eyes when tags say that. Nope – you really can with this one.

These are staples in my wardrobe. I bought two – one in beige rainy day and one in grey ebony. I have several of these already and love how they hold up in the wash over time. Plus, they look great alone or under cardigans through the winter months.

There’s not really much to say – I got this in white and it looks great under tops that need a bit more coverage.
Voluspa Maison Blanc Mini Candles

I love the smell and look of Voluspa candles, and this mini pack of three is a great deal. I bought this smaller pack for a friend’s birthday.
